Position Overview

The position of Social Media & Marketing Executive, will be responsible for all Media related tasks in line with the marketing strategy of St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation.  The employee shall be part of a team and assist the Chief Marketing Officer in managing social media platforms, content creation, digital marketing campaigns and driving engagement across digital and traditional channels.The role is primarily hands-on and involves working as part of a team.

Qualifications and requirements

1. A Diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or a related
2. A higher level of education will be considered an asset.
3. In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and best practices;
4. Minimum of two (2) years work experience in a similar post.
5. Excellent writing and communication skills.
6. Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for marketing.
7. Ability to work under pressure and juggling multiple projects.
8. Fluency in both Maltese and English, both written and spoken.
9. Ability to collect, process and analyse statistical data using online marketing tools;
10. Excellent interpersonal and organisation skills.
